Field island I am delighted to have a number of copies my new book, ‘Field Island,’... Sometime soon, HS2 will be coming to the back fields behind my home no Wimboldsley, Cheshire. Not only is the line coming through but there will be a 65 hectare 24/7 depot and all the upheaval, noise and destruction that will come with it as the landscape changes. This 40 page book is a selection of my artwork- mix of raw sketches, studies and finished paintings from the last couple of years as well as some photos and extracts of various writings from journals and other places. As well as being another celebration of exploring mixed media this book is intended as a record of this land before it changes focusing on one small place at the centre - The Field Island. 40+ pages.
